Hey there! I'm Chun, and I'm really glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy — whether for yourself, your child, or your relationship — takes courage, especially in cultures where mental health still carries stigma. Whatever brought you to this page, I want you to know it matters, and you don't have to do this alone.

I believe real change happens when insight moves from the head into the body, where our emotions, memories, and inner wisdom actually live. My style is warm, relational, and depth-oriented — I won't rush you toward quick fixes. I'll help you slow down, listen to yourself, and reconnect with the parts of you that everyday life often silences.

Working with tweens and teens: I love working with young people. Adolescence is a time when so much is shifting — identity, friendships, family, body, future — and it can feel overwhelming to carry all of it. I offer teens a space where they don't have to perform, explain, or be "fine." As an immigrant mother of three, I also understand how confusing it can be for parents to support a child growing up between cultures, between generations, and inside a digital world we didn't grow up in. I often work with families together to rebuild communication, repair conflict, and help everyone feel heard.

Working with couples: I help couples move past the surface conflict and reach the emotions underneath. My approach is integrative — weaving together Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy , attachment-based work, and somatic awareness, shaped to fit the unique needs of your relationship. Whether you're navigating a major rupture, drifting apart, parenting stress, cross-cultural differences, or simply wanting to feel close again, I'll help you slow down enough to actually hear each other. My goal isn't to take sides — it's to help your relationship become a place you both want to come home to.

Working with individuals: I also work with adults healing from complex trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, and existential questions about meaning and direction. My approach is integrative — weaving together CBT, psychodynamic, EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, existential, and parts work based on what each person actually needs. I believe no single method fits everyone, and healing works best when you get to lead the way.

About me

Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, and I still work in tech today. I know the quiet exhaustion behind high-pressure careers, the slow work of building a life as an immigrant, and the lonely side of looking successful from the outside — and how all of it quietly shows up in our families and relationships.

I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, along with bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University and San Jose State University. I offer sessions in both English and Mandarin Chinese. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, music, travel, and time in nature.

If any of this resonates, I'd love to meet you.
